COMMUNITY SERVICE

Community Service covers the projects and activities the club undertakes to improve life in its own community.

Each of our Club's committees has prepared Key Results and Outcomes, which indicate "where we will be in the future" regarding our Services. CLICK HERE to view the Key Results file for the Community Service Committee.

Prior to the establishing the Community Service Committee, the following were carried out:

Donate to: Pathway of Angels at Deep River & District Hospital, North Renfrew Long Term Care Facility, Deep River & Area Food Bank, Schoolhouse Museum, North Renfrew Family Services activities and “collective kitchen” project, Four Seasons Conservancy, Engineers Without Borders, War Veterans plaque in Head, Clara and Maria, Four Seasons Conservancy, Riverbank Project, etc

Organize and Run: annual Deep River Arts & Crafts Fair, Canada Day, Community awards, International Showcase

Provide Volunteers for: Grannies for Grannies events, Summerfest, Deep River Hospital fundraisers, North Renfrew Family Services, Cancer Society Relay for Life, United Way, Friends of the Petawawa Forestry, Riverbank Project

Provide Funding for: Mackenzie High School annual bursary, Mackenzie High School Interact Club, Tamarack program, Deep River Science Academy
