INTERNATIONAL SERVICE

International Service encompasses actions taken to expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach around the globe and to promote world understanding and peace. Rotarians can support International Service by sponsoring a project in another country, seeking international project partners to support projects in their own communities, or by personally volunteering at an international project site

This page has information about the International Service Committee, which manages the International Avenue of Service (one of the five Rotary Avenues of Service). Each of our Club's committees has prepared Key Results and Outcomes, which indicate "where we will be in the future" regarding our Services. Prior to the establishment of the International Service Committee, the following were carried out:

Visit or give support to projects in El Salvador, Guatemala, Tanzania, Ghana, The Gambia, Venezuela, Costa Rica, etc.

Purchase two ‘Shelterbox’ disaster-relief tent packages each year for use worldwide

Started two micro-credit banks in El Salvador to finance small startup and home businesses

Provide opportunities for interesting service work in: youth activities, international service, community service, membership, partnerships, fundraising
